Hi, I’m Wren. I’m a writer and strategist based in San Francisco.

I bring brands to life with resonant campaign and product strategies.

I’m currently a lead brand strategist at Venmo. I have 12+ years of experience working with creative teams to build user-friendly experiences and trustworthy brands. Everything I do is in service of customer joy and cultural relevance.

I’m curious about the symbols and systems that motivate people and inspire action.

I approach every project with equal parts creativity and strategy. I use clear writing and insights to lay the groundwork for verbal and visual brand identities and compelling creative expressions. My training in anthropology and qualitative research helps me see patterns and find creative solutions.

If I’m not crafting taglines, building brand foundations, or testing product value props, I’m probably practicing another kind of writing-as-thinking—as a volunteer reading and writing tutor, a freelance writer and editor, and a lifelong fan of (good, bad, and weird) books, movies, and TV.
